Different Ways to Explore and Change
From exploring the experiences and patterns that shaped you, to focused hypnotherapy for a specific concern or guided workshops for groups, each option offers a different starting point. Take a look below to find the approach that best fits what you're looking for.
Personal History Exploration
Explore how your past experiences, family dynamics and beliefs may continue to influence the way you think, feel and respond today. Across six guided sessions, we'll look for recurring patterns, consider where they may have developed, and explore what you consciously want to keep, change or leave behind.
Is this for you?
Personal History Exploration is for people who are curious about what has shaped them and want to understand themselves beyond their current circumstances. You don't need to be struggling with a particular problem to benefit from taking a closer look at your own history.
You notice recurring patterns in your emotions, relationships or behaviour and wonder what may be contributing to them.
You want to understand your influences, including family dynamics, earlier experiences and the beliefs you've developed along the way.
You understand certain things intellectually, but find that this understanding doesn't always change how you feel or respond.
You want to make more conscious choices about which habits, beliefs and expectations still serve you and which you'd prefer to approach differently.
What we'll explore
Six guided sessions to explore your personal history, recognise recurring patterns and consider what you want to carry forward.

Experiences & patterns
Significant experiences and the patterns, beliefs or responses that may have developed around them.
What you carry forward
Exploring what still feels meaningful and useful — and what you may want to approach differently.
Integration & Future Alignment
Applying new perspective shifts into daily interactions and consciously planning future expeciences.
What is included
- Six 60-minute online sessions
- Guided reflection exercises and supporting worksheets
- One personalised hypnotic recording (approximately 15 minutes)

Your Personalised Recording
As we progress through your exploration, certain themes, insights and intentions may become particularly meaningful to you. Drawing on these discoveries, I create a personalised hypnotic recording using language, imagery and suggestions that reflect what you want to strengthen or approach differently. The recording gives you an opportunity to revisit these intentions and continue practising them beyond our sessions.
Experiences from Personal History Exploration
"I left the program feeling hopeful, motivated, and excited about the next chapter of my life."
I joined this program expecting to learn more about my family history, and about myself. Looking at recurring patterns across generations helped me understand where some of my beliefs and behaviours may have come from without making me feel stuck in them. Instead, it helped me look forward to the future rather than focusing on the past. The sessions were structured, thoughtful, supportive, and practical, and the personalised hypnotic recording tied everything together in a way that felt very personal. I left the program feeling hopeful, motivated, and excited about the next chapter of my life.
"The exploration also led me to do something I had never thought I would. Expressing love openly to family members has always felt uncomfortable to me. After our sessions, I decided to tell my grandfather how much he means to me."
“At the beginning, I wasn’t exactly sure what I was getting into. I had heard about this type of therapy, but I was always curious about what it would actually look like. I was pleasantly surprised by the questions and perspectives we explored. Some things might seem obvious in hindsight, but I realised things I had never thought about before. In today’s fast-paced world, we rarely take the time to really examine our lives and childhood in such detail. Sitting down and taking the time to explore these experiences and actually analyse our feelings is incredibly valuable. One insight that stayed with me was that we often look at our childhood through an adult lens. We reflect on events with our adult feelings and rationality, forgetting that we didn’t have those perspectives as children. Something that seems small to us now may have been a very big deal to us as kids. The exploration also led me to do something I had never thought I would. Expressing love openly to family members has always felt uncomfortable to me. After our sessions, I decided to tell my grandfather how much he means to me. It was uncomfortable, but I realised that if I never told him, those feelings would never reach him — and I might regret that one day. I am very happy I took that first step. Irina makes you feel at ease, as if you are talking to a friend, while also being able to notice connections and perspectives you may never have considered yourself. It’s the perfect combination. There is nothing to lose and only to gain. There will always be something for you to discover.
"I was hesitant to do this work right before visiting family, worried it might make me more tense or hyperaware of things while spending time with them. But after Irina’s encouragement, I went ahead and did it beforehand, and I’m really glad I did."
I’ll be honest. I was hesitant to do this work right before visiting family, worried it might make me more tense or hyperaware of things while spending time with them. But after Irina’s encouragement, I went ahead and did it beforehand, and I’m really glad I did. It genuinely helped me go deeper into understanding myself, why I do the things I do, how I show up in certain situations, how I relate to people. We absorb so much from the environment we grow up in, from the people closest to us, often without ever stopping to examine it. This program made me do exactly that. I have always been deeply fascinated by human behaviour, and to this day it remains one of my biggest passions. Over the years that curiosity led me to therapy, to reading extensively on the subject, to observing my own behaviour and that of others, and to countless deep conversations with people of very different backgrounds and life experiences. All of that is also what drew me to Irina’s work in the first place. Even so, I had never done this kind of structured, in-depth observation before, and the findings were genuinely insightful. What made it even more interesting was that when I finally went to visit my family afterward, I could see the patterns in real time. Having done the work with Irina beforehand meant I knew exactly what to look for, and that awareness made the whole experience richer and more layered than it would have been otherwise. Things I might have just lived through without a second thought suddenly had context and meaning. One of the most relieving realisations was understanding that a lot of what our parents and family members do is itself a result of what they inherited from their own families. That context makes a real difference. It doesn’t excuse everything, but it shifts how you hold it. What this program does, at its core, is shift the focus onto the family’s way of doing things and help you notice, often for the first time, just how much those ways have shaped you. Not in a small way either. And beyond the awareness itself, it brings something equally important to the surface: the understanding that not everything is bound to stay the same. We have more power than we realise to change the things that no longer serve us, once we can actually see them clearly. I’m grateful for this program and would genuinely recommend it to anyone willing to take an honest look at the patterns in their life and where they actually came from.

Personal History Exploration Workshops
Bring Personal History Exploration into a group setting. Through family mapping, guided exercises, and individual reflection, participants explore the influences, habits, and beliefs that may have shaped them — and consider what they want to keep, change, or carry forward.
Explore Your History, Together
We spend years learning about history, society and the world around us, yet rarely take the same structured approach to exploring our own history.
What have we learned from the people around us? Which habits and beliefs have we adopted, adapted or rejected? And how much of what we do today reflects our own conscious choices?
These workshops offer a space to investigate such questions through guided reflection and practical exercises, beginning with the family tree and expanding into different areas of everyday life.
“What do I want to keep, what would I like to leave behind, and what might I choose instead?”

A personal exploration in a group setting
The workshop is designed for individual reflection rather than analysing one another or requiring personal disclosure. Participants decide for themselves what they want to explore and what, if anything, they wish to share with the group.
Both formats can be adapted to the setting and audience, whether for university students, researchers, academic staff or organisational teams.

One-Session Hypnotherapy
A focused, in-depth approach for a specific concern you would like to explore and address — such as fear or phobia, performance anxiety, an unhelpful habit, or a recurring emotional response.
A focused approach for something specific
This option may suit you when there is a particular concern, response or pattern you would like to understand and approach differently, without committing to a longer programme.
You might come with a specific fear or phobia, performance anxiety, an unhelpful habit, a recurring emotional response, or another situation in which you feel stuck. We begin with what is happening for you now and explore what may be contributing to it.
More than the hypnosis session itself
The process begins before hypnosis. During a 60-minute online intake, we talk in depth about what you're experiencing, when and how it shows up, what you would like to change, and what may already be helping.
That conversation gives us a direction for the hypnotherapy session and allows me to tailor the work to you rather than applying a standard script or technique.
During the approximately 2-hour hypnotherapy session, I guide you into a focused, relaxed state in which we can explore relevant thoughts, emotions, associations and experiences. You remain involved throughout the process, working with what emerges.
The Process
Understanding the concern
60-minute online intakeWe explore what brings you to the session, how the concern affects you, what you would like to experience differently, and any relevant context that can help me personalise our work.
Focused hypnotherapy
Approx. 2-hour sessionI guide you through a tailored hypnotherapy process, with space to explore what arises and work towards the responses or changes that feel meaningful to you.
Reinforcing the work
Personalised recording + follow-upFollowing the session, you receive a personalised hypnotic recording to listen to at home. We reconnect afterwards to reflect on what you have noticed and how things have developed.
One session, with room for what comes next
A focused session can create meaningful insights and shifts, but people and concerns vary. Some people find that one session gives them what they need, while others choose to continue exploring something that emerges. We can discuss this afterwards without any expectation to book further sessions.
What Clients Say About One-Session Hypnotherapy
Have something specific you'd like to work on?
If you're wondering whether a focused hypnotherapy session could be appropriate for what you're experiencing, we can talk about it first. Tell me a little about what's going on, ask your questions, and we'll see whether this approach feels like a good fit.
Personalised Hypnotic Recording
A hypnotic audio recording created around the thoughts, behaviors, or inner responses you would like to reinforce or approach differently, based on an in-depth conversation about you and your goals.
Personalised support for something you want to strengthen or approach differently
You may already have a clear sense of what you would like to change, practise or reinforce — perhaps feeling calmer in a particular situation, building confidence, supporting a new habit, becoming more focused, or responding differently to a familiar trigger.
A personalised hypnotic recording gives you something created specifically around you, rather than adapting yourself to a general recording.
We start with a conversation
Before I create anything, we spend an hour exploring what you would like the recording to support. I want to understand not only your goal, but also how you currently experience the situation, what you would prefer instead, and the words, images or ideas that resonate with you.
This conversation becomes the foundation for your recording.
Created specifically for you
After our conversation, I write and record a personalised hypnotic audio based on what we have explored together.
I incorporate your goals, language and relevant details from our conversation so that the suggestions feel personally meaningful rather than generic. The finished recording is approximately 15 minutes long and yours to return to whenever you choose.
How to use your recording
Listen somewhere comfortable where you can safely relax without needing to stay alert. Regular listening gives you an opportunity to revisit and reinforce the thoughts, responses and direction we identified together.
I’ll also give you guidance on how and when to listen to your recording.
Experience with a Personalised Recording
"Before the recording, I felt lost and without a goal. My mind was fuzzy and I needed my focus back. Even after the intake call, I already felt halfway better — just talking things through helped me find answers..."
The recording reflected my situation 100%. It made me realise that I can allow myself to be in between chapters. I don’t need to be in a life chapter all the time.
Since listening to it, my mind feels clearer, I’m more at rest, and my focus is coming back. I feel like I’ve shifted down a gear — and that’s a good thing.
I would absolutely recommend a personalised hypnotic recording. Irina is a very good listener and she hit the right spots. Her answers and ideas are realistic, and the recording really works.
